Wieliczka Salt Mine from Krakow

Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most unique places worldwide. During over seven hundred years generations of miners created amazing labyrinth of underground tunnels and thousands of chambers. What is more, they also filled some of them with stunning statues entirely carved in rock salt. That is why the Wieliczka Salt Mine is among only twelve sites that found the place on the first, original UNESCO heritage list. The first UNESCO list covered only three sites from entire Europe.
