Walking Along a Medieval Road in Hakone and Odawara

Tokaido was a medieval road stretching 520 km (323 miles) connecting Kyoto, an ancient Imperial capital, and Edo (current Tokyo). You will travel along this historical stone-paved road on foot and by bus, and visit Odawara Castle, Hakone Sekisho (checkpoint), and Lake Ashi on the way. You will be surprised by how much nature there is just 30-minute outside Tokyo. Highly recommended for photographers, hikers and historians.
