The exhibition deals with the story of Irish emigration and the conditions that these emigrants had to deal with. The Great Famine which had a profound effect on the Irish people and left a lasting legacy on this country is also covered. The transportation of convicts to Australia and the hardship and struggle they made is recalled .The Exhibition also remembers the close connection with Cobh and the two great liner disaster stories -The Titanic and The Lusitania.
