The walk up to the glacier takes you about 1000 meters up to "Flatbrehytta" mountain cabins. This is where you rest, have lunch and get into the gear before heading out on Flatbre glacier - a southern arm of Jostedal glacier. On the glacier you will see many beautiful formations in the blue ice and you also get to try ice climbing on the massive ice walls. After the glacier, you will go back to the cabins and head back down to Rødseter farm, where dinner and a hot bath will be waiting for those who booked the dinner option.
