Ukiyo-e that literally means "pictures of the floating world" in Japanese is a genre of art that flourished in Japan from the 17th through 19th centuries. Ukiyo-e artists produced woodblock prints and paintings to depict certain characters, scenes from history and folk tales, travel scenes and landscapes, and flora and fauna. Take a walk to the scenic spot overlooking the Mt.Fuji and deep blue Suruga Bay and also stop by the popular Satta Pass that was drawn as a famous ukiyo-e by Hiroshige Utagawa.
