Edo Walking Tour: Edo-Tokyo Museum and Calligraphy Workshop

The tour conveniently starts from Asakusa, the city's busiest tourist destination, yet just a short bus ride takes you to Sumida, a real local community of artisans and craftsman. You will first learn about Edo-moji characters at the calligraphy workshop and design your own folding fan. Another short train ride takes you to Ryogokuou where you will learn about the everyday life of both elites and commoners in the middle age Tokyo (or Edo) at the Edo-Tokyo Museum. The tour concludes at the museum.
